Welcome to Bridport Gig Rowing Club
We have had a hugely successful last 12 months. Launching our training gig "BuckyDoo" back in May 2010, our wooden racing gig "Dagger" was launched in April this year and training and progress has been hectic and rapid!
We now have 130 plus members which is testament to how successful the Club has been in its first two years.

Colfox Overall Winners!!
The Colfox pupils have made it on to the British Rowing website!! BGRC coaches Matt, Michelle and Chris with some help Katherine Morris from Wessex region British Rowing helped train the crews.

BGRC Regatta
Bridport plan to host our first Regatta this year, on Sunday June 10th. The rowing committee are happy to be responsible for organising the event from a rowing perspective but the committee would like to invite members to help organise the catering and social aspects of the day. Any volunteers who would like to take responsibility for this important role, please contact Mike Carter or the Social Secretary Ken Graham.

Colfox Fitness Suite
A reminder to all old members and invitation to any new members that the Gig Club has the free use of Colfox School Fitness Suite on Tuesday evening from 6 to 9pm.
Anyone who has not been before and would like to join us please contact Michelle Tiffin at the Rowing Team :

We will arrange a short induction for you.
Club training at the Rugby club is on the 12th and 26th April and 10th and 21st May and will then cease for the Summer. All welcome... let Michelle know if you want to attend.
